IT Consultant (Network Engineer/Technical Support)
The IT Consultant is in a position to help our business customers
operate more efficiently using today's technologies. In this role, you
will not only identify technology solutions that will add productivity,
but you will also implement those solutions. We are looking for
candidates with customer-oriented communication and consulting skills
that also have strong technology and troubleshooting skills. This
position is a great combination of both the consulting side and the
technical side of the business.

Openings are available based in the Roanoke, VA area.
Responsibilities:
· Implement network and infrastructure related projects for our clients
· Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems
· Perform analysis of IT needs at customer's locations
· Identify technology solutions based on analysis of customers' needs
· Strong and consistent communication with customers
· Documenting work performed and other technical information for our
clients
Requirements:
· Ideal candidate will have some experience and/or aptitude in the
following:
o Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both
desktops and servers
o Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win 9x, Win2K,
Vista, WinXP, WinNT 4.0/Win2K/Win2003 Server, IIS, Exchange, DNS,
SharePoint
o End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common
desktop applications
o Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of LANs and WANs,
switches and routers
o Configuration of TCP/IP settings on network and troubleshooting TCP/IP
issues
· Certifications such as A+, MCSE, CNE, CCNA are a plus but not
required.
· Restaurant IT and/or POS Systems experience are a plus as well.
